Privacy Policy for HTML to Elementor – Web Page Converter

HTML to Elementor – Web Page Converter is a Chrome extension designed to help users capture selected web page sections or paste HTML code and convert that content into Elementor-compatible widget data for use in the WordPress Elementor editor.

Data the extension processes

The extension may process the following data:

1. Website content

When the user starts a capture action, the extension reads the selected web page section, including HTML structure, visible text, image references, links, styling information, and related layout data. This is required to convert the selected content into Elementor-compatible data.

2. License information

If the user activates a paid license, the extension processes the license key entered by the user. The license key may be sent to Gumroad for verification. Gumroad may return license status and buyer email information for activation purposes.

3. Local usage and settings data

The extension may store local settings, usage counters, license activation status, and user preferences in Chrome local storage.

How data is used

The data is used only to:

- Convert selected web page sections or pasted HTML into Elementor-compatible data.

- Copy generated Elementor-ready data to the user's clipboard.

- Remember local extension settings and usage limits.

- Verify paid license activation through Gumroad.

Data sharing

The extension does not sell user data.

License keys may be sent to Gumroad only for license verification. Payment processing is handled by Gumroad. The extension does not collect or store credit card numbers, banking details, or payment credentials.

Data storage

Most extension data is stored locally in the user's browser using Chrome storage. Generated Elementor-compatible data is copied to the user's clipboard when the user performs a conversion.

Remote code

The extension does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. All extension logic is included in the extension package.

User control

Users can remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome extension storage.
